Maples Teesdale appoints new partner to leading commercial real estate practice

Maples Teesdale, the leading specialist commercial real estate law firm in the UK, announces the promotion of Edward Bird to Partner.
Real Estate expert Edward Bird has been promoted from Senior Associate to Partner in the Commercial Real Estate team after training and qualifying with Maples Teesdale in 2009.
Ed plays a key role in supporting some of Maples Teesdale’s core real estate clients, including Legal & General Investment Management, City of London Corporation, Aberdeen Group, Workspace plc and Columbia Threadneedle Investments across sectors including offices, industrial, retail, and living.
Ed's promotion comes as the firm continues to invest in its next generation of leadership and enhances the firm's partner-involved service and commitment to clients.
Maples Teesdale represents some of the UK’s biggest property companies, funds and financial institutions, including Chancerygate, CLS Holdings plc, Hines, Stanhope plc, Tishman Speyer and Yoo Capital.
