Our history
2025 marked the 150th anniversary of the Maples Teesdale name. The origin of the firm dates back to 1782 and included future prime minister Benjamin Disraeli as a clerk as well as providing services to the Great Western Railway for whom the firm acted, but in 1875, the firm became Maples, Teesdale & Co. From our humble beginnings to becoming a trusted name in the legal community, our story is built on years of dedication, hard work, and a deep commitment to our clients. These are values that we still adhere to in 2026.
