BE News: Spotlight on the Building Safety Act

Associates Isabella O’Connell and Laura Johnson from our Construction team attended a highly topical panel presentation hosted by BE News. They heard from a range of professionals from across the residential sector as they shared their firsthand experience of successfully navigating their companies and clients through the Gateway process and their views looking to the future of the sector and building HRBs in the new regulatory environment. 

The session reinforced our own experience of how critical collaboration and early engagement are in meeting the requirements of the Building Safety Act. The Gateway process is not just a regulatory hurdle - it’s an opportunity to embed safety and quality into projects from the outset. As the sector adapts, those who encourage transparency and proactive planning will be best positioned to deliver compliant, future-proof developments.
