Scott Burn
Profile:
Scott is a Senior Associate in the commercial real estate team at Maples Teesdale. Scott has experience in non-contentious commercial property work including acquisitions, disposals, development and financing, as well as property management work for a variety of industrial, office and shopping centres in the UK.
Scott is the co-head of the Industrial & Logistics sector team at Maples Teesdale with a focus on industrial acquisitions, lettings and financings, and data centres/digital infrastructure leasing, developments and capital transactions.
Professional experience:
- Acting for a Jersey-incorporated JV on the acquisition, financing and subsequent lettings of numerous industrial estates across the UK, including the “Gigha Portfolio” acquired from Legal & General Investment Management in Summer 2025.
- Acting for Bleckmann Logistics on its UK logistics portfolio.
- Acting for Bank of Japan, RSM, Broadridge Financial Solutions, Flying Colour Company, Ventiv Technology and several other tenants on their occupational office moves.
- Acting for a private Hong Kong entity on the acquisition, financing and subsequent lettings of three prime office buildings in Farringdon, London.
- Acting for Bywater on the acquisition, financing, development and subsequent pre-lettings of the market-leading green office building “Paradise” in Vauxhall.
- Acting for an investor on the acquisition, financing and subsequent sub-sales of a housing development in Norfolk for 3,500 new homes across a 400 acre site.
- Acting for Colombia Threadneedle Investments on the letting of office space at Threadneedle Street in the City of London, and on the acquisition and financing of an out-of-town retail estate in Oxfordshire.
- Acting for City of London Corporation on its acquisition of 85 London Wall, in the City of London.
- Advising Cineworld on a number of lettings and re-gears across its property portfolio in England and Wales.
