Adam Bernstein
Profile:
Adam is a Partner in Maples Teesdale's commercial real estate team and heads up the hospitality and leisure sector team with a broad range of experience of investment and active management of office, retail, industrial parks and shopping centres. He advises a varied client base consisting of a number of household names in the leisure and hospitality sector on their real estate growth and asset management requirements as well as specialising in providing legal advice to some of the most exciting new brands from the UK and overseas who are wanting to enter the sector. He also has extensive experience of all types of capital transactions.
Professional experience:
- Acted for Alteris Capital Partners on its acquisition and subsequent financing of Vicar Lane Shopping Centre, Chesterfield.
- Advising CBRE IM on the day to day management of The Ashley Shopping Centre, Epsom and Lion Walk Shopping Centre, Colchester.
- Acted for WD-40 on the purchase of its new headquarters at 252 Upper Third Street, Milton Keynes.
- Advising Cineworld Limited on the acquisition and development of various cinemas throughout England.
- Acted for Patrizia (previously Rockspring UK Value Fund) on its acquisition, subsequent lettings at corporate sale of Abingdon Business Park, Abingdon.
- Advising Henry Boot Developments Limited in relation to the acquisition of plots at Butterfield Business Park, Luton for development and sales/lettings to occupiers
- Advising Greenergy International Limited and its group companies on all of its UK real estate requirements
- Acted for TripAdvisor on the acquisition of its UK head office in The Folgate Building, London
- Advising Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Limited on its UK office portfolio
- Advising Frimley Business Park Investment LLP on its acquisition and subsequent 100,000 sq ft industrial/logistics warehouse development of Frimley Business Park
