Scott is an Associate in the commercial real estate team at Maples Teesdale. Scott has experience in non-contentious commercial property work including acquisitions, disposals, financings, landlord and tenant work, as well as property management work for a variety of office, industrial and shopping centres in the UK.

Professional experience:

• Acting for abrdn across its portfolio, notably on the letting and subsequent financing of a 377,070 sq ft logistics warehouse in Lutterworth, purchase and financing of an Asda superstore in Torquay and sale of Kew Retail Park.
• Acting for RSM, Broadridge Financial Solutions, Flying Colour Company, Ventiv Technology and several other tenants on their occupational office moves.
• Acting for a private Hong Kong entity on the acquisition, financing and subsequent lettings of three prime office buildings in Farringdon, London.
• Acting for a private developer client on the acquisition, financing, development and subsequent pre-lettings of a market-leading green office building in Vauxhall.
• Acting for an investor on the acquisition, financing and subsequent sub-sales of a housing development in Norfolk for 3,500 new homes across a 400 acre site.
• Acting for Colombia Threadneedle Investments on the letting of office space at Threadneedle Street in the City of London, and on the acquisition and financing of an out-of-town retail estate in Oxfordshire.
• Acting for City of London Corporation on its acquisition of 85 London Wall, in the City of London.
• Advising Cineworld on a number of lettings and re-gears across its property portfolio in England and Wales.
• Acting for a Jersey SPV on the acquisition, financing and subsequent lettings of numerous industrial estates across the UK.
• Acting for landlords in relation to the management of several shopping centres across the UK.
