We have an exercise chart at home, where we have to tick off various items each day. In lieu of Parkrun, last Saturday we had a 5k handicap race between the 4 of us. (The 5th person in the photos is my 85 year old mother in law – we are self-isolating with her, to avoid carers having to come in each day – she waited at the finish line to verify who had won). I had a 5 minute head start against my husband and daughter, who themselves had a 5 minute head start against my son. We ran along the A40 to the nearby Tesla store, had to touch the letter box outside with our elbows, and then speed back. I should probably have won, with the handicap, but annoyingly was overtaken by my husband about 70m before the end!
