Blooming Monday
Happy #BloomingMonday
The Blooming Monday initiative came about because today has been identified as Blue Monday. In 2005, a psychologist Cliff Arnall, managed to precisely calculate the most depressing day of the year using the formula below. [W + D – d]T φ

W=weather.
d= debt.
D= monthly salary.
T= time since Christmas.
Q=time since failing our new year’s resolutions.
M=low motivational levels.
Na= the feeling of a need to take action.
As it turns out, this was in fact a marketing campaign for the now-defunct company Sky Travel promoting sunny holidays! However, it has been coined ‘#BlueMonday’ and falls around the third Monday in January every year.
With this in mind, the Maples Teesdale #WellbeingCommittee thought it would be a good day to send some de-stressing tips on how to survive Blue Monday with gentle exercise ideas!
This initiative also included wearing bright colours to boost the firms morale as well as providing non-alcoholic drinks and healthy snacks in the kitchen during lunch as part of Blooming Monday and Dry January 😊. #Wellbeing#Committee#dryjanuary#2020#property#lawfirm#lawlife#legallife#mentalhealth#endstigma#depression#reducealcohol#nonalcoholicbeer#nonalcoholic#healthylifestyle#healthyfood#nakd#nuts#peanuts#raisins
