Profile: 

Sam is the Head of Construction at Maples Teesdale and has extensive experience advising on the construction law aspects of acquisitions and disposals, regeneration, development and the provision of related infrastructure.  He also advises development funders on construction law aspects of secured lending arrangements. Sam is a partner in the Living sector team.

Professional experience:

• Advised Amsprop on the construction aspects of a new build scheme of the site at 117-121 Bishopsgate and Alderman’s House, opposite Liverpool Street Station to provide office and retail space
• Advising City, University of London on extensive works in several phases comprising demolition, enabling and construction, in respect of the design and construction of an educational facility building at the University’s site in Sebastian Street, London
• Advised Legal and General’s Property Income Fund on works at the Meadows Shopping Centre Chelmsford
• Acted for Patrizia on the construction aspects of the acquisition and redevelopment of Abingdon Business Park, Oxon
• Advised London Properties Pte Limited on the design and construction of a mixed use building comprising business and retail space with 550 beds of student accommodation in North West London
