We acted for Chancel House Limited, part of the CLS Holdings group of companies, in a claim against Brent Housing Partnership Limited and Brent London Borough Council. Chancel House Limited was the owner of Chancel House, Neasden Lane, London which was let to Brent Housing Partnership Limited. Brent London Borough Council was the guarantor under the terms of the lease. The tenant attempted to break the lease however we advised Chancel House Limited that the tenant’s attempt to break the lease was ineffective and proceedings were issued to recover the arrears of rent when the tenant failed to pay.
