  • Acted for Rockspring UK Value Fund 2 on its acquisition for c.£45m of the Walnuts Shopping Centre, Orpington (comprising retail, leisure and an ongoing hotel development pre-let to Premier Inn), which was achieved through the purchase of the issued shares in two Jersey companies
  • Acted for Lord Sugar's Amsprop Estates on the sale, to private Middle Eastern investors, of the IBM Building on London's South Bank, for in excess of £100m.   The sale was effected by way of a sale of the shares in the property holding company
  • Acted for Rockspring (acting as manager on behalf of the HBOS Final Salary Pension Scheme) on its acquisition from, and joint venture arrangements with, RREEF UK Office Property Fund in respect of a 50% interest in The Tor, a speculative office development in St Cloud Way, Maidenhead and the subsequent arrangements associated with the transfer of RREEF's joint venture interests to BlackRock
  • Advised Centurion Properties on its purchase of Bretby Business Park (out of a joint venture that it held with TIAA Henderson Real Estate) and associated structuring arrangements
  • Acted for Rockspring Property Investment Managers on the acquisition (by way of a purchase of the issued shares in a Jersey property holding company) of Maskew Retail Park from Chambers Street Properties for £37m
  • Acted for Greenergy, the UK's leading supplier of petrol and diesel, in connection with a joint venture relating to the production and refining of biofuel at a production facility in Immingham
  • Acted for London & UK Property on the corporate aspects (including funding and management arrangements) associated with its purchase of The Globeworks in Birmingham (comprising c.520 bedrooms), as part of their pipeline of student accommodation developments
  • Advised Rockspring Property Investment Managers on its acquisition (via the purchase of shares in a Luxembourg property holding company) of 1 Tanfield, Edinburgh from Carlyle Group for £56m
  • Advising a real estate fund on certain underlying joint venture and other corporate/finance arrangements  associated with its acquisition of a majority stake in a house building and land promotion business
  • Advising The Collective on property and asset management arrangements relating to certain of its co-living properties
