  • Assisted on the purchase of several town-centre shopping centres, e.g. in Shrewsbury, Poole, Bishops-Stortford and Workington
  • Responsible for the ongoing asset management work for  the Fremlin Walk shopping centre (Maidstone), the Meadows shopping centre (Chelmsford), the Pride Hill shopping centre (Shrewsbury) and the Washington Square shopping centre (Workington) – the instructions include all aspects of asset management, including complex relocations of existing tenants conditional on new incoming tenants on tight time scales, agreements for lease conditional on planning / licensing / works / etc, lease re-gears, lease renewals and advice for redevelopment purposes
  • Acting on sales and purchases of all types of commercial properties (including retail and office premises) for institutional investors, property companies and educational institutions
  • Assisting on larger portfolio transactions, including the acquisition of the LxB3 Portfolio for £150 million (and the immediate sale of one of the assets worth £35 million) and the Greenridge Portfolio for £50 million (and its immediate refinancing)
  • Acting in relation to development projects – e.g. for Rockspring on a £25 million acquisition of a multi-let London City office building, with the subsequent full-scale redevelopment and re-letting of the building and for City University in relation to the redevelopment of a number of buildings in and around Northampton Square
  • Acting for both lenders and borrowers on commercial property financing and re-financing – e.g. an £8.5 million refinancing of the Odeon Cinema, Colchester for Avignon Capital (and its subsequent sale)
  • Acting for corporate occupiers (e.g. Nestle and Old Mutual Plc) in relation to acquiring / disposing / managing (freehold and leasehold) property assets and acting for numerous retailers (with particular focus on London West-End retail units)
