Strategic Land - Hot Topics for 2019
Maples Teesdale hosted a breakfast seminar on Strategic Land - Hot Topics for 2019 on Tuesday 2nd April 2019. The seminar featured a keynote presentation from Charlie Blagbrough of the Building Societies Association covering what we mean by Modern Methods of Construction (clue - it is not only modular!) and why BSA believes it has an important role to play, the challenges facing lenders and buyers with MMC properties, what progress is being made to overcome the challenges and what are some of the potential solutions to wider take up.
The seminar also featured James Youatt from Strutt & Parker with his thoughts on current market trends in the continuing uncertain economic conditions. John Bosworth and Martin Smith from Maples Teesdale provided an update on planning and legal considerations.
