EG Industrial & Logistics Summit
On Tuesday 27 November Maples Teesdale sponsored the EG Industrial and Logistics Summit held at 30 Euston Square. The event featured a full agenda hearing from some of the industries big names in Industrial and Logistics.
Paul Burke moderated a panel session entitled “Industrial & logistics – let’s get involved” which covered the stats – why are investors interested in the industrial sector? What are long term plans? Is there an end in sight? The panel consisted of Chris Jeffs, Director - Investment Management, M&G Real Estate, John Clements, European Development Director, Verdion, Richard Moffitt, Chief Executive, Urban Logistics REIT and David Binks, Head of Leasing, St Modwen Properties.
Chen Ikeogu moderated the “London - Light industrial is the place to be” panel with speakers Cameron Fraser, Director, Marchmont Investment Management; Darryl Chen, Partner & Urban Designer, Hawkins\Brown; Len Rosso, Head of Industrial & Logistics, Colliers; Dave Lawrence, Partner, CAG Consultants and Melissa Meyer, Associate, We Made That. The session covered what’s changed for investors, Residential vs industrial – who wins and the implications for city planning.
