Charities
We continue to support charities. We have been involved in several “challenges” including this year’s London Marathon and challenges last year to raise money for Action Medical Research.  This involved a team climbing the 3 highest peaks in the British Isles and
“Racing the Sun” which involved a 50 mile bike ride through Cumbrian countryside, climbing Helvellyn and a 2 mile canoe trip across Lake Thirlmere.
Property Events
We hosted a table at the RICS Quiz Night Dinner at the Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel.
Our annual drinks reception was held on 11 September at Dartmouth House, 37 Charles Street, Mayfair, London, which was remodelled and refurbished in the 1890s by Lord Revelstoke, creating a grand town mansion in the Anglo-French style.
Purchased by the English Speaking Union in 1926, it was graded by the Department of Culture, Media and Sport to Grade II* and is scheduled as a building of national importance.
Guests were treated to an open-air reception in the beautiful enclosed courtyard at the rear.
